I really enjoyed this book, which is full of unexpected turns and a sweet romance. The characters are interesting and enjoyable. The description of the Oregon coast was vivid and made me want to see the beauty for myself. Letters Across Time is a clean fantasy/romance for women, but young adults will enjoy it too. Don't you just love when you come across a book that you don't want to put down? This is the kind of book that you want to read when you are snuggled up with a cup of tea and not planning on going anywhere for a long time. The story pulls you in and doesn't let go until you finish the book but then you are so sad that the story is over.
A great read. . . loved the story line. Wonderful ... written with such real feeling.
Anna writes with a way that lets the reader in on the secret inner-workings of her character's minds. This book is a good combination of flavors from a couple different genres. This one was easy to get lost in. I live on the Oregon coast and I love the way she represents my home so well. Love this book and will recommend it to my friends and family!
This is the third book my sister, Anna Zogg, wrote. It is my favorite. I saved it to read on the cruise I took and it was everything I needed. A little romance, suspense and a great ending. I couldn't figure out how it was going to end, and I wasn't disappointed. You won't be able to put it down. Can't wait for her next book to come out
Anna Zogg is a very gifted writer. I didn't expect the twists in this story, especially at the end. I couldn't put it down until I read it through to the end!
The only thing negative I could say about this book is the editing. I found at times where the wrong word was used or a word would be missing. But that didn't affect the ability to follow the story. I was a little unclear about how the time capsule was introduced in the story.
When an author gives you an autographed copy of her book, of COURSE you read it. I am not typically drawn to Science Fantasy, but I got sucked through Alex's portal and right into Lindsey's life. I had to stay up through the wee hours to finish the book. How do people think these things up? Written with care, splashes of humor, compassion, and a lot of tension, this well-crafted book makes me appreciate the author. I will be seeking out her other publications. (I just downloaded Gypsy Gulch!)
This book was a fun read. It deals with widowhood, Alzheimers, genetic disorders, infertility, and agnosticism. The main character is a runner and a journalist. Although futuristic, the story is realistic and believable--no contrived rescues! Some scenes were edge-of-your-seat vivid, and the book kept my curiosity going the whole time. Would Lindsey find healing for her damaged emotions? Would Alex fail at his mission? Would they end up together or not?
